Frequently Asked Questions
You’ve got questions? We’ve got answers! Here are the answers to questions that come up pretty often. Do you have a question not covered here? Give us a call at 918-773-4007! We’d love to have a chat and see how we can help.
Your container should be placed near the street before 8 a.m. on the scheduled collection day.
Please do not put dirt, rock, concrete, or sod in the containers. It is too heavy and could damage our equipment. Other prohibited items include flammable materials such as oil, gas, and paint or hot ashes and coals; hazardous and toxic waste, septic tank waste, unbagged animal waste or hazardous materials; automotive products including motor oil, tires, and batteries; metal and debris from construction, remodeling, or demolition projects.
Hazardous wastes contaminate our local landfills and our environment if they are placed in with your regular trash. Items considered hazardous may have labels that use words like "danger," "warning," "caution," "caustic," "acid," "flammable," or "poison." Using common sense is usually the best preventative measure.
To ensure that all trash is collected, please ensure all garbage is bagged. Loose garbage may be left in the bottom of the container otherwise. If bagged garbage is left in your container, please inform our office.
We do our best to run according to our service schedule, but there are times that require route changes. For the best experience, please make sure you are enrolled in our service notification system so we can proactively notify of changes that will affect your service.
Also, we ask our customers to have their containers out and available for pickup by 8 am on their pickup day. This will help ensure that your pickup isn’t skipped because your garbage isn’t out.
Please call our office to request any new services or service changes.
The easiest way to review your service schedule is through our self-service portal. You can learn about your account from the comfort of your living room. If technology isn’t your thing, just give us a call. Our customer service team is happy to help!
We accept most metals and fibers for recycling. We DO NOT accept any items that could be considered hazardous (paint, oil, items containing Freon, etc…)
Not at this time. You are welcome to bring your recyclable materials to one of our locations for processing, though.
The short answer is…maybe. We recommend that customers with large or bulky items contact our office before they set them out for pickup. If these items can be picked up curb-side, they will be removed for an additional charge.
Just call our office and a customer service representative will work with you to determine the appropriate container size and service frequency for your location.
Customers are commonly missed because a car or immovable object is blocking access to their container. Also, during times of heavy rain, sometimes a container may be skipped because the road to the container is impassible or the ground around the container is too soft to bear the weight of the truck.
The easiest way to know what is going on with your service is to enroll in our free service notification program. We’ll send you proactive communication about your pickups via text message or email. Our team will confirm when your pickup has been completed so you can bring your cans back from the curb, and if there is a problem keeping us from completing your service, we’ll let you know that, too!
Just call our office, and we will suggest a service level that will better fit your needs. And remember: additional carts are offered at a discounted rate!
Call our office (918-773-4007) with questions. Please have your customer ID or invoice number available. Please be aware that we bill under many different billing cycles. Some customers may be billed quarterly while others are billed monthly. To determine the period for which you are being billed, please look under the Date/Period column.
NO. Dumpsters are paid for by individual businesses or residences. They are rented from us for private use and any damage or illegal dumping can result in a fine.
Because route times can vary based on weather, personnel, and many other factors, we cannot reliably predict a pickup time for each customer. We ask that customers have their container out for collection by 8:00 am on their pickup day. If you have a dumpster, please make sure that it is not obstructed during this time.
